Notecards featuring original artwork of the P-51C Mustang "Tuskegee Airmen"
These unique notecards feature the work of Pete Feigal, a nationally know artist specializing in the rare technique of pointillism. The historical accuracy of Pete’s work is without compare. In fact, Pete Feigal was inducted into the Minnesota Aviation Hall of Fame as their Artist of The Year in 2006 for the impressive detail and accuracy of his aviation artwork.
“Tuskegee Red Tails vs. ME 262” ® is a depiction of two red-tailed Mustangs getting the jump on a German jet. In a bit of creative artistic license, Pete has put the CAF Red Tail Squadron’s Mustang Tuskegee Airmen in the foreground. Although Tuskegee Airmen was only used as a trainer in stateside, it’s fun to imagine what the airplane would have looked like in battle and thanks to Pete, now we know!
